Terrible service, health food violation s as waitresses wearing thong sandels in kitchen, slow to get drinks and food. Never told special of day - did not know until got food & hear waitress telling another table. Child order was chicken drummes but given wings. Not impressed with quality of food. Would not recommend.
This was the worst experience with ribs in my and my 3 other companions lives. They we horrible! Don't go there for ribs. We did have a great server however, and she didn't charge us.
I decided to try Deer Haven for the first time. I arrived at 7 pm. I stood at the reception counter for 20 minutes, several employees walked by me like I didn't exist. Not once, did any even say "someone would be with me soon", nothing! Finally the bartender asked if she could help me. There was 3 open tables in the dining room, but they seem not to want to seat 1 person by themselves, so I agreed to sit in the bar. I was then able to get a beer, and in about 10 minutes I placed my order. Prime Rib please, she took my order but in 5 minutes came back and said they were out of that, how about our Ribeye. Sure! Then she came back again, sorry out of Ribeye. I asked about their Sirloin Steak, nope out. Turns out at 7:30 pm on a Saturday they were out of everything but chicken and pork chops. There were even a few sandwiches they were out of. I paid my bill and left. Lost an hour there. End up at Anchors Inn, they still had Prime Rib! and it was good!
Great water views on deck and nice, clean environment inside as well. Food quality and prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. Staff very friendly.
